Never miss a dose.The medPod by DayaMed helps patients adhere to their medication regimen. Loaded with pre-portioned medication packets and powered by Samsung Galaxy technology, the medPod aids patients with complicated medication regimens or who have trouble with their pill schedule due to age or other limitations
Using their medPod, patients can video chat with their pharmacist regarding their medication, request refills, get health advice, and more. Family members and other caretakers can receive alerts about their loved ones missing medication, and can contact them directly though the medPod to help them remember to take their dose. The medPod is also ready with instructions to the patient in case of a missed dose as well. |

We conceived and fabricated the industrial design and mechanisms in three short weeks. I accompanied the two prototypes to HIMSS 2016, where the prototypes made their debut to the medical community in the Samsung and AT&T exhibitions.
